The Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) for Painting Works outlines the safety procedures and risk controls required for surface preparation, application of paints, sealants, and coatings on residential, commercial, and industrial sites in Australia. It ensures compliance with Australian Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation, the Managing Risks of Hazardous Chemicals in the Workplace Code of Practice, and relevant Australian Standards for paint application.
